Exercise Now is an audiovisual performance that plays on the trope of the instructional video. Musical improvisations by performers generate a video composition from exercise video footage circa 1992. Custom software captures multiple channels of audio and uses this data to trigger, manipulate, and combine video footage in real-time.
Exercise Now was performed at the UCSC Recital Hall in June 2006 in collaboration with Hanami Sutton and Nick Stonehocker.
